DYSCORD Australian Tour August 2008

Hailing from Perth, Western Australia, Dyscord have become a menacing & unrelenting force in the Australian Metal scene. Since the release of their 2006 debut EP 'Arming Within' the band has set about forging a reputation for blistering live shows & unwavering professionalism. During this time the band have made themselves heard by supporting the likes of Machine Head, Arch Enemy & Trivium's Black Crusade Tour, Killswitch Engage, Unearth, The Haunted, As I Lay Dying, Mudvayne, Darkest Hour, Ill Nino & Static-X. Every year in the Perth Metal Scene there is an awards show held for local bands and musicians. This event is known as the Western Front Music Awards. Each year, bands and musicians are nominated then voted for via the website (www.wf.com.au)
This year GROTESQUE headlined the event with over 400+ people showing up for a night of metal mayhem.

Ladies and Gentlemen, Dyscords debut album is complete.
It is titled "Dakota". It was recorded, produced and mixed here in Perth by Adam Spark (Birds of Tokyo). It was mastered in Melbourne by Martin Pullan at Edensound.
To celebrate the release of "Dakota", Dyscord will be playing TWO cd launches.
The first is at Headquarters, Leederville Skate Park, on the 14th of March.
It is ALL AGES!

DAWN OF AZAZEL PARTS WAYS WITH DRUMMER, ANNOUNCES REPLACEMENT

It is with no small amount of sadness that after 3 years playing together that we and Martin have come to a mutual agreement that it is best for us to part ways at this stage of our carrier.
Together we have had so many killer times on the road and on the piss, however we all felt that it was best for us to separate at this point. We would like to wish Martin all the best what ever the future holds, brutal hails mate!.
Accordingly, we would like to take this opportunity to welcome to the fold Jeremy Suckling, formerly of Wellington's Scoria. We have been jamming together for just under a month now and things are progressing exceptionally well, trust us you will not be disappointed!
Our first performance will be on the 8th of March in Auckland, and we will be announcing several further dates very shortly, which shall be followed very closely by a taste of our next album. More will be announced very shortly!

For the first time ever METALSTOCK 2008 will be bombarding the inner city dwellings of SYDNEY over the easter weekend, Saturday 22nd March & Sunday 23rd March at The Manning Bar. This is a great chance for those who have not seen & experienced the Metalstock atmosphere , to behold & embrace its dedication to the metal cause. Although being an indoors festival in 2008, over the course of the two days, Metalstock will feature its best international headliner yet in KATAKLYSM from Canada, plus 14 of the mightiest Australian metal acts going around & 2 brutal offerings from New Zealand. As always Metalstock will be an all-ages event & ticket prices have been kept to a minimum to ensure value for money, leaving all brave hearted warriors more bucks for the merchandise, specials, drinks & food we will have on offer.
