Review by: Digital Steel
At the end of last year I reviewed the split (with deathfuckingcunt) album of these perverts.
It wasn’t very spectacular what I heard but it was entertaining enough to listen to on a frequent base. Now a few months later they return to the front with their second full-length.
In the meanwhile nothing really changed, the lyrics still balance between almost tasteless and hilarious as you can tell by songtitles as Beauty and the yeast, My dick just died, can I bury it in your arse? and I wanna do it with a midget. I must admit, listening to the lyrics, that I have a constant smile on my face. Musically they vary a lot with styles. Like the Carcass infested Grind leading the blind, the punky song Analrexic or Wam bam didn’t know you’re a man with fucked up clean vocals. But no matter what, the grind part is never far away. Further down the line it gets even more sick and weird. Repeatedly listening to this album bands as Macabre, Blood duster and Carcass pops into my mind not the least bands to be compared with although they never reach the level of those bands.
Still, this has become yet another good album from these pornclowns and recommendable for every sick fuck who’s into Goregrind.

Review by: Metal Obsession - December 2009
In their own tradition of being entirely consumed (read: massively obsessed) with viciously obscure pornography, and subsequently being termed by many sane minded people as chronically fucked up, Cuntscrape are back and offering up an almighty number of porn grind tracks for this, their Papsmear Campaign circa 2009.
This time with artwork that is “more readily explainable to your mother”; Papsmear Campaign was supported with a semi-national tour, spreading their recently contracted sexual disease around parts of Australia. And without having the pleasure, I’d suspect the result is like witnessing Machine Gun Fellatio with a box of Viagra slowly digesting in its alcohol laden stomach.
The humorous song titles once again are my highlight from this album, with ‘Beauty and the Yeast’, ‘So You Think You Can Fuck?’ and all but a cover in both name and song of my favourite band, with the track ‘Twilight of the Chunder God’. Classic.
Aside from a scat breakdown surprisingly not involving a scent of faeces, rather Jazz, the identical quintet hasn’t changed too much from a stylistic point of view. We have groovy riffs, ample use of the snare drum and amusing parodies of various genres such as folk, death metal and trance. And plenty of vaginal gore.
In the fashion of the band, I’ll leave you with a festering quote from the album…
“You know how you guys told me that God is in everything? Well God is in every drop of cum that landed on your face, you better eat it”
… I don’t know why either.
7/10
